We will not send you SMS or WhatsApp messages asking you to pay through web links
WM Group has recently noticed an increase in phone calls whereby the caller is looking for other companies and states that they have recieved SMS or WhatsApp messages from courier companies such as D**, Ca****o, etc., and logistics/transport companies like G*G***n and other companies regarding China-HKG shopping delivery, parcel courier, or local van services, and asking for recipient’s full address or requesting payment through hyperlinks.
We are unsure if these scammers are impersonating other logistics, courier, transportation companies and at the same time misusing our contact information inside their messages. We encourage the public to double check if the company name matches the company information they receive messages from. If in doubt, or if you receive any suspicious messages, please protect your personal information. If you believe you have been scammed, please report to your local authorities.
We would like to remind the public to pay attention and beware of message scammers and phishing links. Our company will not ask you to settle payments via email / SMS / WhatsApp hyperlinks, or change our company bank account details prior to sending an official company letter to our customer and agents.
